Why was poker night at the inventory removed from Steam?
Delisting – Poker Night at the Inventory was delisted from Steam on May 23rd, 2019. Although Telltale did not offer the same kind of explanation that they did regarding Poker Night 2, the game was likely delisted due to expired licensing of one or more of the properties featured in the game.

How do you get items from poker night at the inventory?
You have to actually play the game and get the achievements. to get the items you need to play the game and at the start there should be a cut seen where one of the characters put an item on the table instead of money.P.S. I watched shibby2142 vid on how to get them benny 22 Jun, 2014 @ 2:27am just play it and when a guy puts something on the table just elimintate him and you get the item They’re achievement items. Just play something while you play it. Just keep clicking new game until somebody puts an item on the table, and keep going all in until you get the item or until you lose (or someone gets the item before you). Keep doing this until you’ve earned all four items, then delete the game and never look at it again. It’s true. I finally got the Enthusiast’s Timepiece, now I’m done with that sh, DONE WITH IT. DONE! Last edited by Space Coward ; 23 Jun, 2014 @ 2:34pm it took me 20 mins to get all the items. When some one puts an item on the table just go all in all the time. You gotta keep refressing the game until you get one where one of the players offers a tf2 weapon and then simply win 😀 I found two as drops, I refuse to try for the back scatter, and I crafted the other two. One hour, and I had them. Not that it mattered, since I was raging about being kicked for not congaing. You could always use sam to unlock them but I do not trust it at all. Just play the game. Will poker night ever come back?
Tales from the Borderlands 2 and Poker Night 3 are rumored to be in development at Telltale Games. As usual, this information is unconfirmed considering it’s a rumor, but it comes from a rather prolific Telltale leaker. According to the leak from Hereitismydude on reddit, Tales from the Borderlands 2 and Poker Night 3 are in the works.
As Wccftech notes, the leaker has been spot on in the past with information The Wolf Among Us 2 was coming back and they also outed the news of Batman Shadows Edition ahead of time, Tales from the Borderlands 2 is still a few years out, according to the rumor, and Gearbox is currently “working out a deal for Telltale to have season one back.” The rumor also states AdHoc Studio, made up of former Telltale devs is “on board” for the second season of Tales from the Borderlands.
Also, Poker Night 3 is currently in the early stages of development. The rumor states it won’t be called Poker Night 3 and is a project being developed completely by Telltale. It’s said the studio hopes to announce it at E3 2020 and release it digitally a few days later.
- The last game in the series, Poker Night 2, was released in 2013 and featured characters such as Brock Samson (Venture Bros.), Claptrap, Ash Williams (Evil Dead) and Sam and Max.
- With Poker Night 3, the current rumor is it will contain crossover items for Fortnite and Borderlands 3.
- It is also said characters will include Bigby Wolf, Rhys and Fiona, Bruce Wayne, and Lee Everett from The Walking Dead.
While all of this is good news, the rumor also states that The Wolf Among Us 2 has been put on hold while AdHoc writes the story. At present, it’s said assets, locations, and core mechanics are at the ready. So, while AdHoc works on the storyline, Telltale has switched over to working on Poker Night 3 – or whatever it will be called.
In August, Telltale Games assets and back-catalog rights were purchased by LCG Entertainment, this included licensing rights to some of Telltale Games’ properties, Not all rights were acquired, as some IP are wholly owned by other companies. The Walking Dead is owned by Skybound, and Stranger Things is owned by Netflix,
IPs such as Borderlands, Game of Thrones, and others weren’t discussed at the time, but the revamped Telltale Games said it would have a look at other expired licenses. So, again, and we can’t stress this enough, keep all of this tucked away as a rumor despite how accurate the leaker has been in the past.

Can you still play games that are removed from Steam?
What Happens If a Game You Bought Is Removed From Steam? – You are probably wondering what happens if you buy a game on Steam and it later gets pulled from the store. Will you still be able to play it? In the majority of instances, the answer is yes. The game will remain in your library and you will be able to download, install, and launch it as normal. There are exceptions to this. If a game leaves Steam store because it’s literally unplayable—perhaps a multiplayer game where all the servers have gone offline, or a game protected by digital rights management (DRM) software that no longer works—then it could disappear from your library.
In these circumstances, you might be eligible for a refund. While the normal Steam refund policy applies, Valve may extend beyond this if, for instance, a publisher or developer cancels a new game, or they didn’t deliver on promised content. For free to play games, you should receive at least 90 days notice before it shuts down.
In-game purchasing should also become unavailable at the same time. If you haven’t had the opportunity to get the full value out of any in-game purchase, Valve may refund you for it.

How do I buy NSFW games on Steam?
How to Show (or Hide) Adult Only Games – To find this option, click your name at the top right corner of the Steam client and then select “Store Preferences.” You can also head straight to Steam’s account preferences page in your web browser. Under Mature Content, check the “Adult Only Sexual Content” box to view these types of games. Your change takes effect immediately. Return here and uncheck the option if you don’t want to see these types of games anymore. You can click “View Example Products” to see examples of games with adult-only sexual content on the Steam Store. The Store Preferences page also lets you customize your other Steam store preferences. For example, you could hide games with nudity, gore, or other mature content. You can also hide different types of content you don’t want to see, including software, movies, virtual reality games, and Early Access products.
Steam still allows you to enable parental controls, too. You can block access to the store entirely or even only allow access to specific games in your library with Family View. Image Credit: Casimiro PT /Shutterstock.com.

What is the longest running poker game?
The Bird Cage Theatre in Tombstone, Arizona, was an entertainment venue that operated from 1881 to until the silver mines closed in 1892, presenting comedians, opera singers, comic singers, minstrels, Shakespearean actors, even Mademoiselle De Granville, also known as the “Female Hercules” and “the woman with the iron jaw,” who specialized in picking up heavy objects with her teeth.
Located at 6th and Allen Street, the Bird Cage is best remembered for the longest poker game in history that was played in the basement of the theater. To play, gamblers had to pay $1,000 up front. The poker game was played continuously for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from 1881 to 1889, a total of eight years.
It is estimated that a total of $10 million was exchanged in the game and the Bird Cage retained 10 per cent. Among the most notable people who participated in the game at one time or other were George Hearst, Diamond Jim Brady, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson and Adolphus Busch.

Can a pub host a Poker Night?
The Gambling Commission has recently warned pubs not to try to circumvent rules on poker by hosting ‘private’ games. The popularity of poker as a game has grown enormously in recent years. The position on playing poker in pubs changed when the Gambling Act 2005 came into force.
- It is important that anyone wishing to stage a poker game in licensed premises knows what is legal.
- The Commission has updated its guidance note on poker in pubs to cover this.
- Background: The Gambling Act 2005 The Act permits equal chance gaming (including poker) on licensed premises without the need to apply for a licence but subject to certain statutory restrictions.
The Act applies to premises which have a bar and where there is no requirement that alcohol is only served with food. Statutory Restrictions Poker can be played in pubs but the following statutory conditions apply:
Fixed limit of £5 stake per person per game; Maximum daily stake or prizes £100; Maximum weekly stake or prizes £500; Prohibition on any levy or deductions from stakes or prizes; Prohibition on linking games between premises; No participation fee may be charged; Children and young persons (under 18 years of age) must be excluded.
If you breach the statutory conditions you may lose your entitlement to offer gaming. The exemption permitting equal chance gaming in a pub can be removed by the licensing authority where gaming has been carried out in breach of the requirements. The most likely sanction for breaching these provisions therefore is a review of your premises licence.
- You will also commit an offence and would be liable on conviction to up to 51 weeks imprisonment and or a fine of up to £5,000.
- Private gaming The Gambling Act 2005 also permits poker to be played without a licence or the statutory requirements above applying but only in very limited circumstances.
- For example, the Act permits ‘private’ gaming.
Some pubs have allowed high stakes poker to be played in a room hired by a group of friends or a ‘member’s club’ – and claimed that this is private gaming and therefore not subject to the statutory restrictions set out above. The Gambling Commission has recently warned pubs and clubs not to try to claim private gaming is taking place as a way of trying to avoid the statutory limits on stakes, prizes and fees applying.
It must take place in an area which is not accessible to the public, normally a private dwelling, hostel, hall of residence etc. Private gaming can potentially take place in the function room of a hotel or pub if hired by a member’s club as long as access is not available to the public. However, it must be a genuine member’s club – issuing temporary membership is not likely to get around the problem. In The Gambling Commission’s view acquiring membership to take part in a “private” event or acquiring membership shortly before an event is unlikely to mean that these individuals are not members of the public. Beware – Membership status is not allowed to be used to circumvent the law ; No charge may be made for participation even a voluntary one. There may be no entrance fee or other charge e.g. a requirement to buy a drink from the bar in order to be allowed to play; No amounts may be deducted from stakes or prizes as this is regarded as a charge for participation; No profits may be made.
For further details see The Gambling Commission guide on private gaming Gambling Commission Code of Practice The Gambling Commission has published a code of practice for equal chance gaming (including poker) in clubs and premises with an alcohol licence.
The Code has no legal force but is admissible in criminal proceedings and is taken into account by the Commission and in other tribunal proceedings. If you intend to host poker games in your pub you should be familiar with this Code of practice. In a pub compliance with the Code is the responsibility of the Designated Premises Supervisor who is known as the Gaming Supervisor.
The Code includes the following:
all playing cards and other equipment to be provided by the premises; requirement for a procedure to prevent under age gambling; requirement to keep records of stakes and winnings; games organised by management should be played with poker chips not cash; for management organised games rules should be displayed or available; a duty to exclude customers who breach statutory conditions.
The Code of Practice can be found here For any questions arising from this article, please contact Christopher Ainsworth at [email protected] Click here to read: A guide for gambling in pubs The content of this page is a summary of the law in force at the present time and is not exhaustive, nor does it contain definitive advice.

How many players is a good Poker Night?
Plan Well – There’s more that goes into a successful poker night than meets the eye. You need to make sure you have all the tools needed to play poker — cards, chips, a table, etc. You also need snacks and drinks. A nice jazzy playlist adds to the environment.
If you really go big, you might want some cigars once the game itself has concluded (or during if you’re in a smoking-friendly environment). And most importantly, you need people! While you can certainly play with fewer, starting out with around 8 participants is the best way to go. That’s also how many slots you’ll find on most poker tables.
So do a mental walkthrough of how you’d like the evening to go. Imagine opening the door and letting people in. Will you serve drinks and snacks right away? How long will you wait for latecomers? What will you do if a number of people don’t show? If you run out of drinks, do you have a backup plan? As the host, you’re the one folks will look to for troubleshooting, so make sure you run through all the scenarios.
You also want to communicate liberally. While I tend to email reminders about the shindig only about a week in advance, I’ve discovered that it actually needs to be a bit more than that. Once you decide on a date, let everyone know to put it on their calendar, and send a couple emails (or texts) out beforehand as well.
Now, it’s not like guys are going to harshly criticize you for not having things well-planned, but the night is smoother and more enjoyable if it is. The tips below will ensure that your evening is well-thought-out, and that everyone has a good time because of it.
