Now if you play at the lower stakes in particular there are obviously still clear exceptions to this that you can find all the time.

There are very few people who are just going to keep giving away their money forever. However the game of poker still doesn’t have that true breakthrough appeal to the much broader public like movies or video games do for instance.

And there is nothing wrong with this at all! Most people will likely always view poker as a game of luck similar to other casino games. And quite frankly, I am totally fine with that. I don’t want them to educate themselves and understand that it is a game of skill that can be beat. That there are certain fundamentally sound poker strategies that I use to beat them again and again.

Because that would reduce my edge. I want them to keep thinking that I just get lucky all the time. So they can keep deluding themselves into thinking that they will finally beat me when their luck turns around. But this large level of ignorance will also prevent the game of poker from ever gaining that huge level of mass appeal again (and huge amounts of dead money with it).

Poker online vs live Good morning everyone, in my opinion online poker is much more profitable, because you can play dozens of mtt online and this is not possible in live poker. Only for top players, live poker is more profitable than online. for me live is more profitable by far. i attribute this to better reads because you are able to see your opponents. also being able to be vocal helps misguide opponents and gather information on them with simple table-talk.

On line, in my opinion is grossly unfair, it’s one thing to get a bad beat, it’s another to have it programmed. spoils the game. having said that,i would go to a site, that played truly random hands.

It depends, if you study a lot but have difficulty making live reads, then it will probably be more profitable. Otherwise, live tends to be much softer.

I think the problem at online poker is you did not know the players or not very good they changed too fast,when you play live you know mostly whow the players play,so I have better chances to win
