Is Governor of Poker legit?
Governor of Poker 3 is officially certified for fair dealing! Governor of Poker 3 is a fair and trusted Poker game, that is why the Random Number Generator (RNG) used in our games has been certified by iTech Labs, a laboratory for all major online gaming jurisdictions.
- ITech Labs has evaluated the RNG by Youda Games Holding B.V.
- And found that it adheres to the important standards.
- ITech Labs has evaluated shuffling for Single deck (without joker) for Poker and Six decks (without joker) for Blackjack.
- ITech Labs has also conducted scaling tests for Slots game.
- The shuffling and scaling tests were conducted on large enough samples to give the calculations sufficient statistical power.
iTech Labs has found that cards/numbers are unpredictable, non-repeatable and uniformly distributed. The Governor of Poker Team What does RNG mean? Poker Games and Slot Machines are developed using statistical consequences. To guarantee the players that GOP3 is operating in a fair and logical manner, the game is programmed using a Random Number Generator.
Its role is to make sure that every gambling event such as card shuffling or spinning the wheel ends in a random result. The RNG ensures that the right random result is obtained. Who is iTech Labs? iTech Labs is an accredited laboratory for all major online gaming jurisdictions. iTech Labs consultants have been testing and certifying all types of games on a wide range of online gaming platforms for over a decade.
They offer a full suite of testing services for online casino and social gaming platforms, including Certification, Quality Assurance, and Security Testing. For more information, please visit https://itechlabs.com/, What does this certification mean to you? As a player, we want you to know that Governor of Poker 3 is a fair game and doesn’t manipulate cards or doesn’t favor any players.
You can be assured that your experience is not controlled in any way. Everyone is treated equally and every undealt card has an equal probability of drawing. Why does Governor of Poker 3 care? Card Shuffling and scaling have always been a priority for Governor of Poker 3. We also received some players feedback about the game being unfair and that the cards are being manipulated.
To avoid any doubts for players, Governor of Poker requested iTech Labs to check the card shuffling and scaling for Slot Games algorithms. Common concerns from players Royal Flush We received some feedback about the Royal Flush being the best hand on many Players’ Profiles.
These players usually have played to Royal Poker, where you can play only with cards from 10 to Ace. The probability to get a Royal Flush is much higher than with regular Texas Hold’em. Why do I get the lower prize more often? Well not everyone can win the jackpot every time every day! In chests and on (free)spinning wheels there is a weight for each prize.
Due to this the chance to win a jackpot is lower than winning the lowest prize. This prize selection is also part of the RNG certification and many people do win the jackpot prizes each day! Why do I always get unlucky with the table cards? Did you ever had the best hand on the Flop and the Turn, but another player got lucky and beat you with the river card? Even though the odds were in your favor? This is called a Bad Beat and can happen in poker, but it still feels really bad.
- So bad that players look at the RNG as the cause, but in reality, you are just unlucky and hit one of the less likely outcomes.
- With free Social Casino Games, people will always risk more.
- They will play with a bad hand and reach the river and get lucky and might beat you.
- The only thing that you can do is to raise a bit before they hit something.
Don’t get frustrated and stick to your tactic, as they can’t always be lucky!

Can GGPoker detect VPN?
Is it safe to play poker online with a VPN? – Yes, it’s safe to use a VPN to play at PokerStars, 888poker, GGPoker, and other online poker websites. Yet, you should still be aware of the possible outcomes. Sometimes, it so happens that a user’s account gets banned (together with all its precious funds) if a VPN activity is detected.
- Thus, I recommend using VPNs that have no known IP leaks, like NordVPN or Surfshark.
- In addition, an online casino might ask you for proof of identity, which, unfortunately, includes your real location.
- For this reason, I’d begin with small withdrawals to see whether the site actually requires any documentation.
Also, it’s better to withdraw fairly often, not leaving huge amounts of money in your account. Finally, take your country’s stance on gambling and VPNs into consideration, as some regions are stricter than others regarding these things.

Can a poker bot win?
3. The player plays for unreasonable amounts of time. – Suppose at the start of your session you spot our silent friend, Mr. Pokeroboto, playing on a few tables. Just as you’re about to close your laptop after a long, successful session, you notice Mr. Pokeroboto still grinding away, and so you railbird him for a little while.
- As far as you can tell, he’s playing as well as ever.
- That methodical, Mr.
- Pokeroboto style— so consistent! He looks to be playing just as well as someone at the beginning of their session.
- After a while, you go to sleep. Mr.
- Pokeroboto continues playing.
- Suppose the same thing happens the next day, and the one after that.
Where does Mr. Pokeroboto get his stamina? Answer: from his RAM upgrade. Mr. Pokeroboto’s unreasonable amount of play means he is almost certainly a bot. The fact is most poker bots are not great at poker. Yes, they’re winning players, but just barely. A bot’s real value comes from the volume of poker it can play.

Does Governor of poker have bots?
Vihan 20 Feb, 2016 @ 5:40pm Last edited by Vihan ; 26 Feb, 2016 @ 5:26pm Yep always the same image profiles, i wonder if there is even real players on this game. yep. it is the same bots that orchestrated 9-11, and the Kennedy assassination. Bongo 21 Feb, 2016 @ 3:20am If you can’t win chips on this game you must be doing something wrong. the average player is terrible. Last edited by Bongo ; 21 Feb, 2016 @ 3:51am curry 21 Feb, 2016 @ 4:01am True.1000 players in game yet all the tables are empty. Don’t forget to mention it bans you from the low stakes table after a couple hours playtime. Its Level 13 for the 250 Dollar Table, i was a bit disapointed too It has some bots, yes. But none of them can play. Vihan 21 Feb, 2016 @ 10:41am I have over 2 million chips now.funny too I tried to lose them because i was leaving and kept winning all in pushes. My point is just that they are bots with pics and names to make u think they are real ppl. thats all.If you dont mind playing mostly bots, then by all means have fun. I Wanted to be playing real ppl. thats all.enjoy! Dennis 21 Feb, 2016 @ 1:03pm Bots are only in the first game for new players (In the first saloon), to give them an onboarding experience without waiting and to win some extra starting chips. When the first 2 hands have been played, the room opens up for real players and the bots will leave. All cards are then totally random. so wait for good cards, just like you would when playing with friends. I dont need advice on how to win. Also, you say opens up to new players and the bots leave, they do leave and return but they dont stay gone. There are many bots at all tables. Yes players can join and bots will drop.
But it’s obvious that bots are present. Thanks for atleast verifying it! Originally posted by Dennis : All cards are then totally random. Guessing this means all cards arent always random either. wow Last edited by Vihan ; 21 Feb, 2016 @ 4:29pm Vihan 21 Feb, 2016 @ 2:06pm Dont get me wrong.I liked the game. But the bots ruin it~ just lose the bots and make it so the tables merge when there are fewer players. simple fix People want to play aginst Real ppl. atleast I do. And just to be very clear I was up to third saloon and bots were all over the tables.
So if you claim they aren’t go have a look and listen to player feed back. Bots are everywhere! if nothing else call it a bug and say u will fix it. One more thing. Why disguise the bots as real players? If they are only at first saloon as u claim, which isnt true anyway. Then just let them have a diff image and say Bot or give them random names but not real ppl’s pictures.
At the end of the day when you add everything up, it doesnt look very good. Im not gonna be playing anymore but I suggest you change whats going on before more ppl discover it after spending real money. Just my 2cents~ Last edited by Vihan ; 21 Feb, 2016 @ 2:22pm Bots? How can you tell they’re bots? Nothing about any of the players I’ve sat with suggests that they’re bots. Vihan 21 Feb, 2016 @ 2:25pm Bots? How can you tell they’re bots? Nothing about any of the players I’ve sat with suggests that they’re bots. Well they are and Dev just verified it. But just keep playing and watching the images and names. It becomes very obvious which one the bots are.you will see after a while. No the Dev verified it for the first table. As for the images and names there is a bug with those. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re refering to. Saying just watch and you’ll see isn’t proof of bots at all. I’ve watched, I don’t see anything suspicous with the players. You’re going to have to be more specific or people are just going to think you’re confusing bots with bugs Vihan 21 Feb, 2016 @ 2:34pm No the Dev verified it for the first table. Who owns GGPoker?
Ontario’s new online market, set to launch April 4, has added another licensee to the list of international operators, GGPoker ‘ s parent company, NSUS Limited, has received an online gaming license to operate in the Canadian province. However, the domain it has registered for operating under this new license is not GGPoker, but the World Series of Poker, through a new WSOP.ca skin.
This suggests that WSOP could be planning to launch regulated online poker in Ontario using GGPoker software instead of its long-term partner, 888. An active listing from Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) shows the newly listed approval for wsop.ca via NSUS Ltd. The World Series of Poker and GGPoker have been partners since 2020, with the aim to bring online WSOP bracelet events to an international audience.
In 2020 and 2021, a slate of US-only bracelet events was offered on WSOP.com, accompanied by an international-only series of WSOP bracelet events, but offered instead on GGPoker. The latest deal adds to the increasing synergy between the WSOP and GGPoker in the online-poker niche, with further developments expected.
GGPoker is the sixth Ontario iGaming licensee so far, joining 888poker, which announced its licensing last week, Neither GGPoker nor the WSOP has confirmed its license approval from AGCO, but both companies appear in the second grouping of three AGCO-approved licensees, along with lottery firm Annexio.
The first three iGaming license approvals went to sportsbook firms PointBet, Rivalry Corp., and theScore Bet (affiliated with Penn National Gaming), PokerStars parent Flutter Entertainment also appears elsewhere within AGCO’s multi-category listings, but has not been approved for an iGaming license.
- Online games regulated in Ontario, which are expected to go live April 4, allow licensed operators to offer online poker, casino games and sports betting.
- So far, WSOP/GGPoker and 888 are the first two poker operators to receive such authorization.
- Online poker in Ontario will be separated from the rest of the world.
Although it was recently reported that the regulator had explored interstate pacts that would allow cross-border shared liquidity, it is not expected to be ready by next month.

Does poker VR cost money?
Kids Are Playing Poker Online in Virtual Reality Games — Legally (Bloomberg) – During a round of poker in a virtual reality casino earlier this month, one player at the table was berated with sexually explicit language. Most Read from Bloomberg The player, dressed in a purple top and a white anime-style haircut, was highly likely to be a child, based on their voice and their reaction to the abuse.
While playing rounds of Texas hold ‘em, a Bloomberg News reporter saw users smoking virtual cigars and passing around digital guns while the suspected child played with a toy donkey next to their chips. In another poker game, a player said they were in the fifth grade, which would probably mean they were aged either 10 or 11.
The virtual casino built by Pokerstars VR is owned by one of the biggest betting groups in the world, Dublin-based Flutter Entertainment Plc. Launched in 2018, it has about 40,000 to 50,000 daily players and is accessed via headsets including Meta Platforms Inc.’s Oculus Rift and Quest products, or HTC’s Vive.
- There is a zero-tolerance approach to any player that acts in breach our of terms of service and community standards, circumvents our age rating, uses toxic language or behaves inappropriately, all of which can lead to permanent bans,” a Flutter spokesperson said.
- We are investing to enhance player protections, including the roll-out of AI-driven tools to support our moderators, and are working closely with Meta and other technology partners to continually raise standards.” Facebook and Instagram-owner Meta is the world’s top VR headset maker, with 80% market share according to research firm IDC.
It asks users to be aged 13 and over. Pokerstars VR was the 14th most popular “experience” on the Oculus Quest chart in mid-May. More than a quarter of US teens own a VR device, according to investment bank Piper Sandler. Gambling regulators have placed strict age restrictions on betting for money, with a minimum of 18 to visit a casino or game online in Britain.
- Playing virtual poker where no money changes hands is treated more like a videogame and is not illegal in the UK or US, and none of the major companies behind the virtual casinos have broken any laws.
- Now activists and politicians are increasingly focusing on how to regulate gateways into gambling.
- If you took a child into a casino there would be a public outcry,” said Carolyn Harris, a UK MP and chair of a cross-party gambling harm group.
“This is no different. This is giving children access to what a real casino is like. They need to protect children and vulnerable people and the government has to take responsibility for that.” Pokerstars VR makes it clear to users before entering its virtual casino that players must be 18 or older to play.
It employs moderators, and players can report others they suspect of being underage. Flutter employs five full-time moderators but it’s planning to hire more. The other betting game available via Meta’s Oculus is Poker VR, where anyone above the age of 13 is welcome, according to its terms of service.
Neither title lets people play with real money but Pokerstars VR charges for extra virtual chips and decorative items like guns and toys. Reviews for both titles on the Oculus store and game service Steam reveal user complaints about rooms full of players apparently under the age of 18.
It’s incredibly concerning,” said Andy Burrows, head of child safety online policy for the UK’s National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. “The harm here is about exposure to age-inappropriate content, to age-inappropriate experiences.” Although the money is virtual, “it can socialize them into gambling habits and run the risk of normalizing that behavior.
But also, we know that virtual currencies are a route for exploitation, and we know that abusers will look to offer gifts,’ he said.Poker VR developer Mega Particle, based in California, didn’t respond to a request for comment. “Quest devices are designed for children ages 13 and up, and some experiences are only for people 18 and up,” said a spokesperson for Meta.
We strongly encourage parents who choose to allow children 13 and up to use the headset to monitor their use, limit the time they spend using the headset, and ensure they take breaks.” What the Metaverse Is, Who’s In It and Why It Matters Virtual reality headsets have been around for decades, but have recently exploded in popularity, with customers spending over $1 billion in Meta’s Oculus Quest store, in part driven by the hype of the so-called metaverse, a virtual universe that blends various aspects of digital technologies such as gaming, VR and social media.
Facebook’s parent company spent $10 billion developing metaverse products last year, and JPMorgan estimates the market will someday reach sales of $1 trillion a year. Although the metaverse does not truly yet exist, various digital hubs are being created where companies are marketing various virtual reality experiences.
Poker rooms run by Decentral Games have become some of the busiest venues in its Decentraland world, with guests buying virtual items that can later be sold for cryptocurrency. On the Internet Nobody Knows You’re a Kid – Yet: Parmy Olson Traditional gambling firms are keen to tap into the trend. Flutter rival Entain Plc, domiciled on the Isle of Man with its head office in London, is preparing to open a “lab” in the UK capital as part of a £100 million ($122 million) program to develop faster, more captivating games in virtual reality.
The announcement played up the facility’s proximity to the local headquarters of youth-focused platforms Snap Inc. and TikTok. Entain owns 24 betting brands including Ladbrokes, and owns half of US unit BetMGM. Entain will work on using 5G wireless from the likes of Verizon Communications Inc to deliver “more immersive” experiences, the company said.
- It also means more instantaneous interactions and the possibility to squeeze in ever more bets.
- The former CEO of Verizon Media Group, a division since sold to Apollo Global Management, previously said 5G means “more in-game betting opportunities.” Entain doesn’t operate any virtual reality casino games yet.
It plans to convert two of its traditional British betting shops into virtual reality arcades this year, and it will also launch “virtual sports clubs” where players wearing Oculus headsets can bet on fixtures. Currently, they offer a VR horse racing experience called JockeyCam for fans who have turned up to track events.
Entain said it’s upgrading player protections to “stay ahead of the rate of innovation,” including with the use of technology it says can quickly identify risks, adding that “all emerging technologies will of course be subject to the same stringent identity and age checks that are already in place across all of our products.” Given the full-on experiences virtual reality can provide, Burrows said companies should be paying closer attention to safety.
“The immersive and experiential nature of these services means that the risks to children are heightened compared to existing or previous forms of technology,” he said. “Correspondingly the requirement for companies to be delivering an effective safeguarding response should be there too.
But it’s clearly lacking.” Facing increased activism in response to problem gambling, British and Irish lawmakers are drawing up stricter laws to clamp down on their homegrown gambling firms, now some of the world’s largest. In an April speech Andrew Rhodes, the head of the UK regulator, the Gambling Commission, honed in on “the spate of novel products we now see coming to market, often in the unregulated spaces between established markets.” With “hangers-on, trying to make a quick buck,” the boundaries between digital products and gambling are blurring, Rhodes said.
However, UK gambling law doesn’t classify games that don’t permit customers to win a prize or money or things of monetary value as gambling, so the current VR products may not count. The speed with which the world of gambling has changed was underscored in one exchange during a Pokerstars game seen by Bloomberg, when a young player was accused of being spoiled for having an Oculus headset, which costs around £300.
