3rd relic slot and required dungeons – Hi All, Does anybody happen to know where I can find clear information what specific dungeon(s) is/are required for each class for unlocking 3rd relic slot. I can easily find the information about completing the class campaign, but what about that 3rd relic slot. For instance.
On my druid, I have heaps of dungeon quests to do in order to complete the class hall campaign, but the first dungeon I did (Neltharion’s Lair) unlocked the 3rd relic slot.

Just as every class, you need to finish your class hall campaign completely, get the chest and AP from final q, then you get a separate quest to stand in front of w/e empowers your weapon and press extra button.

Has been same experience on multiple characters so far. What you’re experiencing is most likely a bug, if it is indeed the case.P.s. Druid have some serious dungeon grind for the class campaign, no way you could accidentally complete it with just neltharions. Over 9000! After completing Warrior, Death Knight, Rogue and Paladin. I have not been required to complete any dungeons specifically for the class hall progress. Demon hunter requires killing any 15 dungeon bosses for one quest. All that is required to unlock the third relic slot is full and complete finalized quest state for your character’s class order hall. I have in fact completed my druid class hall campaign. It didn’t even occur to me that 3rd relic and finishing class hall campaign are kinda same thing since I have that 3rd relic while still holding most of those dungeon quest in my quest log. And I thought that my campaign wouldn’t be complete until I’ve done all of those quests.

(You obviously can do all off them, but it’s not required). And if that is the case, is that the same with other classes which have multiple dungeon quests. So the wowhead guide says these dungeons are required, when in fact it should say you can pick one of these or do them all. The Insane I had to do a few dungeons on my DH, then randoms for 15 thingies, then build a got damn space ship. My DK has like 3-4 dungeon quests sitting there, so I’m probably 4-5 hours from getting 3rd relic, still have nearly 670 ilevel though. Weird and dumb. How do you get the holy artifact relic?

Relics are items which are socketed into your Artifact, similar to how gems from Jewelcrafting function. You will use your Artifact(s) throughout the expansion and Relics are the items which increase your Artifact’s iLevel, effectively replacing weapon drops for the duration of the expansion.

Not only do they increase your Artifact’s iLevel and damage, they also add additional levels to certain Artifact traits. For example, your Retribution Paladin might receive Rocket Chicken Rocket Fuel which will both increase its iLevel and put an extra point into your Highlord’s Judgment trait. Artifacts start with two Relic slots, unlocking a third once you’ve completed your class’s order hall questline.

With Retribution Paladins as our example, Ashbringer starts with one Holy and one Fire relic slot. All relics have a designated element. Rocket Chicken Rocket Fuel is a Fire Relic, which means you can only put it in the Fire slot. You’ll need to find a Holy Relic for the Holy slot.

Once Retribution Paladins unlock their third Relic slot, they have a total of two Holy Relic slots and one Fire Relic slot.
Artifact Relics can be most commonly acquired through quests, max level world quests, dungeons, and raids.
Much like all other gear in the expansion, Relics have a random chance to upgrade to a higher iLevel.

The Code of Canon Law strictly prohibits the sale of relics: “It is absolutely forbidden to sell sacred relics” (CIC 1190 §1). This law pertains to all authentic relics of saints. The New Commentary on the Code of Canon Law explains that, “The prohibition against selling any sacred relic is expressed in the code’s strongest language, nefas est, meaning ‘it is absolutely forbidden.’ Relics may be given away by their owners, except for the second category of relics which may not be given away without permission of the Apostolic See” (1415).

The second category of relics referred to in the commentary are very significant or highly honored relics. The law treats these relics more strictly: “Relics of great significance and other relics honored with great reverence by the people cannot be alienated validly in any manner or transferred permanently without the permission of the Apostolic See” (CIC 1190 §2).

The commentary explains relics of great significance : “A significant relic was defined in the previous code as a part of a saint’s body (arm, forearm, heart, tongue, leg) or the part of a martyr’s body that had suffered the wound that caused death, provided the part was entire and not too small” (1415).

The signs and wonders worked by the Apostles were so great that people would line the streets with the sick so that when Peter walked by at least his shadow might ‘touch’ them (Acts 5:12-15). When handkerchiefs or aprons that had been touched to Paul were applied to the sick, the people were healed and evil spirits were driven out of them (Acts 19:11-12).

In each of these instances God has brought about a healing using a material object. The vehicle for the healing was the touching of that object. It is very important to note, however, that the cause of the healing is God; the relics are a means through which He acts.

In other words, relics are not magic.
They do not contain a power that is their own; a power separate from God.
Any good that comes about through a relic is God’s doing.
But the fact that God chooses to use the relics of saints to work healing and miracles tells us that He wants to draw our attention to the saints as “models and intercessors” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 828).
